Mrs. Kelly Bragg is a doctoral candidate at Grand Canyon University with an expected dissertation completion date of August, 2015. Her EdD will be in Organizational Leadership, with an emphasis in Instructional Leadership contributing to the research of Collaborative Leadership and the Implementation of an Advisory Program. Mrs. Bragg spent over 13 years teaching at a Title I school in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Her Language Arts in a 9-12 classroom experience varies from instructing English Language Learners through exceptional students. In order to adequately instruct students, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Teaching and a Structured English Immersion endorsement. She led Professional Learning Communities and wrote curriculum to align with the state standards. Working for students, Mrs. Bragg also helped create and implement a school-wide Advisory program for all students and adults on campus as part of the school improvement plan while mentoring student teachers, and sponsoring numerous clubs and activities on campus. She currently works for Grand Canyon University developing curriculum for the College of Education. She creates accredited programs that prepare future teachers to go into the classroom, maintains all of the student teaching courses offered to students, and is currently the head developer for a custom content project to prepare student teachers go into their own classrooms as successful teachers.
